The Ai2 can be controlled by either using the keypad & screen, or any TV/DVD/VCR remote control.
 
 
Each time you add a part to the Ai2, you are able to use more of its features.
Motor Modules & Skid - enable all of the driving functions to be used
The Line Tracker - Enables the Ai2 to track a line or drive within a border
LED Modules - Light up when the line tracker is operating and at other times
Sounder - Enables the Ai2 to give operating beeps and play theme tunes
Bumper Assembly - Enables the Ai2 to use the Bump robot functions & is also used in Sumo Mode
IR Receiver - Enables the Ai2 to be operated via remote control & is used in Sumo Mode
IR Transmitter - Enables the Ai2 to Enter Sumo battles and Speak to other Ai2's
  
The Ai2 will automatically turn off after 45 seconds of being inactive to conserve battery power. It can be powered back up simply by pressing any of the three buttons on the keypad.
 
**NOTE : You will not be able to control the Ai2 via a remote control until you have fitted the IR Receiver module (Pack 20).
