PROGRAMMING I-BOT

I-BOT is programmable over the Internet using a simple icon/picture based programming language. Below are some screen shots demonstrating what this looks like. Your i-bot doesn't need any computer cables or special wireless comunications all your computer needs is a CRT or LCD monitor.

When you have written your program you simply hold your i-bot upto the monitor and press 'DOWNLOAD'. A section of the screen flashes and your i-bot sees the changes from white to black through its light sensor. The flashing represents the the program you have written.

Notes on Programming
Not all computer monitors are created equal - Some monitors are brighter than others. If your monitor has a low brightness or poorer than usual contrast then ambient light (especially sun light) will interfere with i-bots light sensor. (LCD monitors are a lot less brighter than CRT monitors)

There are two ways to rectify this:
1> Remove ambient light (turn lights off, close curtains etc)
2> Use a  small piece of blu-tac to cover the top of the line trackers sensor

Hold i-bot facing down as bright sources of ambient light usually come from above. This way i-bot is more effective at shading the light sensor
